An engineering organisation, not a single product.
Ashmere Software designs, builds and maintains its own portfolio of software. We aren't a digital agency working through a list of client briefs — every project on this site is ours: conceived, built and operated by the same engineering organisation.
That portfolio is intentionally varied. S.W.A.N. is a long-running wildlife monitoring network built with conservation and research partners. Kestrel CAD is a dispatch and public-safety simulation platform built for roleplay communities. Sentinel is a security and monitoring platform for infrastructure teams. Beacon is a small, open-source service monitor anyone can run. They don't share a market or a user base — they share an engineering team and the standards laid out on our engineering page.
Ashmere is a growing organisation. We'd rather describe ourselves accurately as we are today than pad this page with numbers, logos or claims we can't back up.
What ties the portfolio together
S.W.A.N.
The Scientific Wildlife Acoustic Network: privacy-first listening stations hosted by schools, reserves and communities, turning local bird activity into public, educational and research information.
Kestrel CAD
A modern Computer-Aided Dispatch and public-safety roleplay platform: dispatching, police and fire/EMS MDTs, records and incident management for multi-department communities, built primarily for FiveM.
Sentinel
Ashmere Software's security and monitoring platform. Sentinel collects host and application security telemetry, correlates events, and gives teams a working view of what's happening across their infrastructure.
Beacon
An open-source monitoring and status platform for services and infrastructure: HTTP checks, API and server health, and availability tracking, released for anyone to self-host.
